Who do you admire?
Well, as a writer of children’s fiction I’ve
got to say J K Rowling. The Harry Potter phenomena that
she created is, well, phenomenal. She’s clearly a
genius. Joanna aside, it has to be J R R Tolkien. I grew
up reading his magical books.
What did you do yesterday?
I followed Alannah Malarra through a pine forest in Scotland.
She was chasing A.N.G.E.Ls of all things. That’s one
spirited 12-year-old!!
Favourite TV program?
The US series, Battlestar Gallactica. The characters are
incredible.
What can you do that’s special?
You mean apart from making an invisible stone drop into
a paper bag and making my children laugh? Well, I suppose
writing Ghoul Strike is pretty special. I’m certainly
very proud of it anyway.
